EDITChanged the preview file into the tutorial file, since people kept asking if I deleted my tutorial (which I didn't, you could get it by hitting the "Download" button on the right).
So to stop the confusion, here is the tutorial without the preview.
How to draw male eyes that is!
Since there are many differences between to male eye and the female eye, I chose to create a tutorial about the male eye only. I will do the female eye someday as well.
I'm sorry if the image is small and blurry, but I don't want people to steal this. I will publish a book sometime and I will use this tutorial as well (which is a lot bigger and clearer), so yeah... sorry once again!

Anime can be simple, it depends on what style you use. I've seen some amazing anime and manga artworks here at DeviantArt which made me draw anime as well. I never submit those drawings because they're easy sketches, but maybe if I'm better at it, I will submit some.

thank you!!! that was REALLY helpful! glad to get a peek at a book in progress XP lol it's fun to scroll up and down the picture fast so it looks like a video of the eye morphing whole *has way too friggin much free time* so the difference with a female eye is mostly less shading on the brows and lower eyelids..?

Hmmm well the shape of the female is the same as the male eye
BUT
apart from a few exceptions (lol), females wear make-up and they change their eyebrows. The male has a more 'rough' eyebrow than the female. You know what I'm talking about? That's why I was (I'm not sure if I still am) planning to get a tutorial about the female eye as well.

May I ask you a question? I have just recently started to draw and I would like to ask for some advice. What pencils did you use and where?

Sure, any questions are welcome
I used 4H, 2H, HB and 2B mechanical pencils and a 4B normal pencil. With the 2H and HB I sketched the shape of the eye, with the 2H and 4H I did the darker areas in the eye. With the 2B I did all the darker areas, and with the 4B I made everything look a little more darker (which is the last step of this tutorial.

Grappig dat je trouwens boogschieten doet. Dat had ik ook (3 weken...) gedaan, maar ging niet verder omdat ik de sfeer er niet fijn vind. Maar de sport zelf is wel ontzettend cool!
