hey sorry for the super slow reply >_<;;
I do use a tablet, but it is possible to colour with a mouse (for the first few years that I did digital artwork I used a mouse). You just have to fiddle with brush settings and have a super strong wrist. There are some tutorials here on DA you can find for mouse colouring and lining

i really am into Borderlands 2, and the Cel Shading style used there. Going from very precise, design based work, to more art based work has been so very difficult, but this Tutorial has made things soo much easier, and something that i can refer to and work off! Thank You so very much.

I dunno why... cel shading doesn't give the character more volume... :/ It still looks flat in many ways.

I would never claim to be an expert... this tutorial is more to help people get on their feet and help them understand the concept so they can apply it to their own art ^^

Yeah but it's mainly for manga artists or comic artists.. i wouldn't consider myself one.
I have "comic-book realism" style, not completely realistic, but not entirely comic-book either and so the shading is half and half as well.

OOoh what a great tutorial! I'm glad it's for Photoshop and not paint tool sai. It's very easy to understand and I'm glad you showed a few different methods for coloring! <3

I give you lots of props and thumbs-up; this is possibly the best coloring tutorial I've come across. Your meanings are very clear, and your examples are easy to follow; for those of us who aren't already art-savvy, this is great, comprehensive material that makes understanding easy. I can already see a few of the areas I was needing to figure out, and they're very easy to grasp! Great reference tool!
