No you need to bake it. It's not air dry, it's polymer clay. I probably should have said that somewhere in the tutorial.

^_^ Polymer clay isn't food safe. Although it really does seem to make me hungry. Maybe Poly clay is bad for diets. It should have warning labels. lol

what kind of clay do you use? is it the air dry type?

Nope, it's not air dry. This is polymer clay which needs to be baked. I have actually never tried air dry clays.

they keep on cracking right when you think that you're finally done. Some people miraculously pull it off, i wonder how.
Where can you get polymer clay? I've looked. no luck.

Well if you can't find any in local craft shops you can always contact someone in the states or UK and do a swap with them. I love personally love trading supplies for unique local candy and food ^_^

Yeah. Swapping is really fun. You get things from each other that you can't get where you are. I did a swap with a girl in Sweden and she wanted freezer paper, polymer clay varnish, and a few other supplies she couldn't get in Sweden. I asked her for a bunch of local candies and pictures of her area. It was really neat to learn about her culture.
