A request for Inchide.EDIT: An interesting polish of a drawing that has long irked me. In 2006, while stressed from working at Verizon, i shat out a horrible, malformed drawing of "Metroid Samus." Despite being awful, it became one of my most popular. Now it is less embarrassing.
I should point out that this was drawn before i knew of the new, blonde Zero Suit Samus -- she used to look a bit different in each game and her exact look was hard to pin down.

Honestly I never liked the blond hair. It's been oveused to death by hollywood and it's way to "soft" a color for hardass like Samus.

Wow. Absolutely gorgeous, I really love this one. Until today I'd never seen a metroid TF.hybrid before, and here I've found two of them.

I have to admit that I like this one better than the second.
I'm not quite sure how to explain it but having the metroid nucli in her belly rather than her chest is much better way of expressing the lost angsty-ness of no longer being quite human. It's like that most basic symbol of human femininity - the womb - has been subverted by the alien thing she is becoming.
I also wonder if Samus will suffer from the need to consume the life energy of other creatures and how she would deal with that.
Someone needs to do a fanfic on it.

The reason i don't like this one is because it doesn't really look like Samus. When i drew it, i was just thinking of the old NES and SNES Metroid games that i had played... i was not aware that Samus had an updated look, with the blond hair with the tails on the side, etc.

I saw Samus outside of the powersuit and I thought "Of course... Curvy blonde." But this is what she NEEDS to look like, diffrent, new. She's been infected by an alien parasite in order to survive!
It's a very good peice of artwork in my opinion, I love the effect around the stomach where you can see the 'metroid triangle'. Very nice. Instant fave.
I would love for you to do some artwork based on some of my 'strange' characters once I get more art up. I find strange characters are far more intresting than humans....
