Dracule "Hawk Eye" Mihawk is one of the Seven Warlords of the Sea and the greatest swordsman in the world. He is the first Warlord to be introduced in the series, way back during the Baratie arc of the East Blue saga. Zoro' s dream is to beat him and take his title as greatest swordsman, and Mihawk even ended up training him during the timeskip after seeing Zoro put aside his own pride and dreams for the sake of his captain. Mihawk himself is still very mysterious, as we don't know how or why he became a warlord, or what his motivations might be, if any. He seems quite bored with life since his main rival Shamks lost his arm, which ended any interest he had in continuing the rivalry. He now considers Zoro as the first "worthy opponent" to come his way in a long time. His sword the the black blade Yoru, one of the 12 supreme graded swords in the world. He also wears a small cross shaped kotagana that he uses to fight those he considers insects (almost everyone) and also uses it as a dinner knife. He's very stoic and serious, and could be considered as chaotic neutral as he just does what he wants. He's currently living in an abandoned castle on Kuraigana Island with the ghost girl Perona.
