Description
For the Return to Ravnica set of Magic: The Gathering.I use my webcam to take pose reference photos of myself for many of my images and it occurred to me at this point that I'm usually dying rather gruesomely. I have so far been incinerated, disintegrated, shot through the back with a beam of angelic light, pulled to the underworld by damned souls, electrocuted, fallen into a pit of lava, crushed to death and had the top of my head cut off. But you haven't seen the last two yet

Your description is so diabolical particularly the last sentence but I love the delight with which you tell it. It adds to the eeriness of the piece and I must say, now I want more!

I love the motion in this.

Surely you'll die peacefully one day in the card art... right?
As for the piece I like how the figure appears to be trying to come to terms with being wrapped in the flames.

I have had the chance to be the "hero" in some recent images where they're not dying. It was a nice change

Oh, I don't mind waiting. Your art is wonderful. Besides. Th funnest part is going to tournament and saying ''I know who drew that.''
I was wondering.. Are you not allowed to post your MTG art until the cards are leaked?

Exactly. The artists are contractually withheld from sharing the images until Wizards releases them which is usually a nine-month delay. The pieces I'm working on now can't be shared till sometime next June.

Oh, wow. It must be amazing to do art for such a huge company, but it must suck because you have to wait that long to share it.
