Description 30min. spitpaint, Photoshop CC2017. Basic premise was having a small ratty thing scuttling through a foggy grassland with this giant beasty thing with glowy eyes hunting it. Reason being that keeping my illustrative focus on two main forms would free up more time to get those parts right and use the fog and mist to hide basically the rest of the image haha Again, if you have an idea you want to execute with a limited time frame, figure out the best way you can generate the key elements of your image and whatever time you have left you can use to add flourishes.

Good idea and cool presentation, but to make the idea behind the title clearer, the ratty thing needs some prey of it's own.Ā Ā

I'm always amazed and impressed by how you always drawing such magnificent things in such a short time XD.

"...if you have an idea you want to execute with a limited time frame, figure out the best way you can generate the key elements of your image and whatever time you have left you can use to add flourishes" that words really inspires me a lot! Thanks dude! Unfortunately i can't try your advice because i'm still beginner in digital arts so i need to the process and understand drawing in digital art slowly but not too slow.

Keep up the good work mate! Btw i heard you already made another startup aside designing characters in batle cards video game, so how is it going mate?

Btw this art reminds me a lot of alien convenant movie,Ā  damn(yeah i'm scared at watching that movie especially at solider women'sĀ  death scenes, i'm really sand and scared when saw it) you have such a terrifying art skill lol XDĀ

Haha thanks I think it's a good idea to hold to, work within your constraints but work to maximize what you can do within the parameters you're given hehe.

That moment when the tiny creature felt something behind it but refused to look back. A semi wise choice but the end will be the same. Being eaten like a grape.

I like the fact the little beast is completely unaware of the approaching maw that will engulf it. Just one item of botheration, as a once distinguished scholar would have said : what are the three spikes, at the same level than the orange eyes ? Fangs ? That would seem to me... err... anatomically bizarre. Or some random horns on the creature's head ?

They're fangs jutting up from the lower jaw. I was thinking of having the bigger monster be an apex predator with a majority of its food source being considerably smaller than it, so it's lower jaw juts out and it scoops up prey. Evolutionarily speaking though, in a fantasy world you're not always the biggest, so what if it had to develop some sort of usable defense/offense against beasts of comparable size? It already has a powerful lower jaw/scoop mechanism so you can build up from that as a primary means of aggression and defense. Also given the size of its head, the fangs could double has a small means of deflecting away blows that could possibly strike the eyes, not 100% designed for that since the fang/jaw set up is mainly to eat smaller things and fight against larger ones, but still a usable side effect.
