Some members of the Agents of Freedom were undercover as clients of the Junebug Talent Agency and were making slow and steady progress. Together they had rescued many new clients before they were brainwashed into doing the Junebugs bidding. Even the counter methods used against them were becoming less and less effective. It was time to take things to the next level.

Agent Sophia Gold got a job with the Junebug Talent Agency, not as a client but an actual employee on their payroll. This gave them a huge advantage. Gold thought about her situation. With the information she gave Commander Jake Black, he could make the other agents more effective and reduce their risk of capture.

However, not everything was in their favor. Gold knew they still had a long way to go. It took somewhere between a few weeks and a few months for the mind wipe safety features of the Junebug Talent Agency to be placed into the minds of their clients. Once that happened, anyone they rescued would have their minds wiped in a matter of minutes. It was a grim choice but she knew she might have to do it in an emergency. Also, the Junebug Talent Agency employees themselves still eluded them. Gold hoped this was something she could change.

If Gold was caught, she would be killed or tortured for information. Neither of those options would be good for her or the mission. Her cover needed to be as flawless as possible. With each task her job required she considered the possible dangers. Those dangers she could avoid, she avoided. Those remaining she would get through as best she could.

Gold reminded herself she was not alone. Other agents were gathering information too. The Junebug Talent Agency would have to divide their time and resources and not spend them all on her. Even so, she would still be considered a priority so she needed to be careful.

Days later, the opportunity she wanted came. A shapeshifter who worked for the Junebug Talent Agency would be attending a concert alone. Her name was Ms. Davis and she planned to watch a potential client while disguised as an old man. Getting more information, like who the client was or further details about the disguise, would be too risky. She would have to tell Black what she knew immediately and hope it was enough.

Black sent a team from the Agents of Freedom to the concert in search of Ms. Davis. It only took them a few minutes to examine the few old men who bothered to attend and even less time to overpowered Ms. Davis. They placed her in custody. Commander Jake Black offered the Junebug Talent Agency a prisoner exchange so they could get Agent Lee Gray back. They had won an important battle but the war was far from over.
