Barney was invited to the party at the sorority. He had heard the rumors but he flat out did not believe them so he decided to go. He helped himself to the food and drink. Looking at the table and the area around him, he saw the place was a mess. He really hoped someone would clean the place. After he had finished eating, he cleaned up after himself figuring it was the least he could do.

Sierra noticed his interest in cleaning. She agreed the sorority house was a mess and suggested he clean it up for them. Barney gladly agreed. All the dirt, dust, and grime had to go. He hummed a happy tune to himself as she placed a wide variety of cleaning equipment beside him. She told him to stay out of their room but he could clean anything else.

Barney started with the hallway. As he various objects in the hallway, it felt like the dirt, dust, and grime was leaving his own body too. The dirtiness of the sorority hallways, the dirtiness of the body, and the dirtiness of the past all felt interconnected and they were all being cleaned through her efforts. Her body was clean and her mind was clean. It made her excited and eager to clean more.

Next came mopping the floor. Barbara took great care in her work and left the floor looking shiny and new. She put a wet floor sign down so no one would slip and fall and took a moment to examine her work. Things were much better. It was like the place had been cleaned for the first time in years even though she knew that was not the case.

Once Barbara was satisfied with her work, she walked up to the nearest mirror and looked at her reflection. Something was different about her but she could not figure out what it was. She thought she had lost some weight. Even though Barbara should have been tired after all that cleaning, she actually felt more energetic before.

Sierra returned and told her that she did not have to clean anymore. They would take care of the rest. She also told her that they had voted and she had been accepted into the sorority. Barbara was overjoyed. That was what she wanted and all it took was doing a little cleaning for them. She was given her own room which had already been cleaned for her. They returned the favor.
