For more than a century Octavia and Harley travelled together. The fempires would move to a new town, stay there for about six months, pick an unsuspecting male to feed on, drain him of his maleness, and leave before anyone else discovered somebody was missing. Once they found a new town to live in far away from the previous one the cycle would repeat itself.

If a man was drained of his maleness he would become a woman, but if he was drained even further he would become a fempire himself and drain other men of their maleness. However, even fempires had their limits. The final stage had to be voluntary and none of their victims wanted to join them. In fact most of their victims were extremely angry with them. Despite being together, Octavia and Harley were alone.

From town to town and country to country they travelled. They learned many different languages and met many different interesting people, but they knew they could not stay in any one place very long. To survive they had to feed and then they had to flee. No one else wanted to live the kind of life they had ... or so they thought.

David was a young man who lived in the United States towards the end of the twentieth century. He did not consider himself loyal to anybody and he did not think it would bother anyone that much if he suddenly went missing. To Octavia and Harley, he was the ideal victim. They invited him to their house and started draining him of his maleness.

However instead of complaining, David seemed pleased with what was happening. As far as he was concerned, any change at all was better than what he had before. Octavia and Harley both noticed this. They gave each other knowing glances as they suspected he might actually be someone who was willing to join them.

"David, or should I say Debbie," said Octavia once Debbie had been completely transformed. "We are fempires. We drain men of their maleness. This may come as a shock to you but trust me you will get used to it. We can either leave you as a woman, the way you are now, or we can turn you into a fempire like us."

"If you join us your life expectancy will be greatly increased," explained Harley. "I have been around since the nineteenth century."

"And I have been around since the days of the Roman empire," added Octavia. "Although we want you to join us, we can not force it upon you. The decision has to be yours."

"I will join you!" Debbie announced immediately. She really did not see a downside to not aging and living for centuries.

Octavia and Harley smiled and drained Debbie of any remaining maleness that even natural women had. Once they were done, Debbie had become a fempire.

"The urge to feed will hit you in a few months," declared Octavia who was clearly taking charge. "We will have to leave soon. Since you are new, we will let you pick our new location. With three of us, we will either need to move every four months instead of every six, or select multiple victims. I guess which one we do depends on how hungry you are. Any questions?"

"None at the moment, but I am sure I will think of some along the way," answered Debbie.

"Good!" said Octavia.

"How does Hawaii sound?" asked Debbie. "I always wanted to go there."

"It sounds great," agreed Harley.

The next day Octavia, Harley, and Debbie prepared to leave for Hawaii. It was several days after that before anyone noticed that David was missing.
