Most fraternities and sororities select who they want among those available. For the sorority, once invited, the selection process was much less strict. All one had to do was receive the approval of a simple majority of all current members. In the case of a tie, the president would cast the final vote.

This process would continue as long as there was an opening until all spots were filled. Occasionally a pledge was rejected but this was the exception rather than the rule. When they did reject somebody, it was fairly clear why. It had been years since they last had a close vote.

Zoran had been rejected by every fraternity he attempted to join. He was really disappointed. He figured he could drown his sorrows by attending the party at the sorority. Like most students, he had heard the rumors but by that point he did not care whether they were true or not. All he had to do was avoid their games, or so he thought.

The sorority girls kept asking Zoran to do a simple task or play a game with them. Zoran kept on refusing because that is what he had been told to do. However, he did not feel the same way about the free food and drink they had available. He helped himself to them without thinking twice about it.

At this point, the transformation had already begun. Zoran could not just leave the sorority house. They would have to vote and he would be accepted or rejected depending on the outcome. Knowing this, the girls became more desperate as they asked him to participate in their activities.

Zoran still refused even as he was transforming. His hair grew longer as his body hair disappeared. His clothing changed into a short black dress with matching black heels. Breasts grew on him as his body became more curvaceous. Finally, his genitals changed making him fully female.

Before she could react to the physical changes, the mental changes began. The girls at the sorority had seen it many times before, most of them anyway. The name Zoran faded from her mind and was replaced with the name Zizi. As far as she remembered she had always been Zizi. She walked around in heels as if she had been doing it her entire life.

Her core personality was still intact. Those who played their games would continue to play their games and those who avoided them continued to avoid them. Zizi, however, was an unusual case. The only reason she had not participated in anything they did was because of the warnings. As the warnings faded from her mind, so did most of her reasons for avoiding them.

One strong reason for not doing what they wanted still remained. Most of those who transformed really wanted to join the sorority but Zizi was not so sure about it. She continued to help herself to food and drink but she did not play their games. Neither did she leave. She seemed content to remain in some sort of mental limbo.

The girls in the sorority left Zizi where she was and went off to vote. Rose was among those who voted to reject her. Lucy was among those who voted for her to join. When the votes were counted, it was a tie.

Rose gave both sides a chance to argue their case before she cast the final vote. Those opposed talked about how Zizi would not do anything with them despite their best efforts. Lucy argued that Zizi never left the sorority house. She was still there and there was still time for her to do something. Time that was cut short by the vote.

The sorority girls returned to Zizi. They were still unaware what the decision would be. Rose did not tell them she had been among those who voted against letting her join.

"Zizi," said Rose as Zizi turned her head in response to hearing her name. "This was one of the closest votes we ever had. In fact the vote ended in an exact tie and it is up to me to cast the deciding vote."

Rose paused for a moment as she considered the weight of the decision she had to make. Zizi waited patiently for the result. She had nowhere else to go.

"It is my ... pleasure to inform you that you have been accepted into the sorority!" Rose exclaimed. "At first I did not think you would be good for this group, but you convinced so many people otherwise that I would be a fool to ignore it."

"I will do my best not to let you down," declared Zizi who was grateful to finally be accepted somewhere.

With the pressure off, Zizi finally agreed to play one of their games.
