When Patrick drove past his local tavern, he saw a local sign offering a St. Patrick's Day Special Brew that was available only for a limited time. Patrick decided he wanted to try it so he drove up there that night. When he went up to the bar and ordered the St. Patrick's Day Special Brew, the bartender promised he would not regret it. The waiters and waitresses told him it would be absolutely amazing.

Despite this, Patrick stared at his foamy green drink and wondered if it was really worth trying. He knew if he did not try it he had just wasted his money. Quickly he took several large gulps before he could change his mind. It was really fizzy like a well shaken carbonated beverage. This forced him to stop drinking until he swallowed what he already had in his mouth.

It tasted bittersweet, kind of like mint flavored beer. Another ingredient had a strong taste too. He could not figure out what it was. As Patrick reached out to take another drink, he noticed his skin had a greenish tint to it. He knew it was because of what he just drank but did not know whether his skin really was turning green or if he was just seeing things.

With his next mouthful, more changes occurred. His eyes turned purple and his ears grew and became pointed. It made him look less like a human being and more like an alien. He also thought he was growing breasts but that was absurd.

Not knowing what else to do, he drank some more of the brew. Feeling down, Patricia realized she had become fully female. This should have been impossible but by this point she was too drunk to care. She drank what remained of the brew as quickly as she could. Her tolerance for the fizzy drink had greatly improved and she felt she would be able to handle another.

After finishing her second drink, Patricia looked at herself in the mirror. Her hair had turned pink with a few streaks of light blue and she was wearing earrings. Even her clothing had changed. She understood how her body and hair could be changed by the drink but she could not understand how it altered her clothing. Patricia thought her appearance was just an illusion. Then she thought her past was just an illusion. From what her other senses told her, this was more likely to be the case.

The owner of the bar came up to her and offered her a job for the duration of the St. Patrick's Day Special Brew event. Her regular job would give her all the time off she needed to do it. Patricia agreed. For over an hour, she stood outside holding up a large sign advertising the St. Patrick's Day Special Brew. It was bound to lure in more people.
