Description
Well, it certainly has been a while, now hasn't it? That's largely my fault, though I can also pin the blame on a couple of other people . . . namely my Publication Designs teacher who doesn't seem to understand the concept of actually teaching her class properly and assigning homework at a decent rate. I could honestly go on and on about why I hate my college teachers - some of them, at least - but I won't bore you with that.Instead, I'd like to propose a toast to a watcher and a fast friend of mine. In honor of 's birthday (albeit belated. Once again, I blame myself), I give you his latest creation!
Onto the facts!
Name: Baidude
Species: Milligant
Homeworld: Anur Milligan
Powers/abilities: Baidude has enhanced strength and is capable of lifting objects as heavy as a small car.
Baidude has sharp claws.
Milligants have an incredible bite force and can bite clean through steel.
Milligants have enhanced underwater vision and can hold his breath for a significant amount of time, about two hours at maximum by absorbing small amounts of oxygen through the mane of moss growing out of his back. Because of this, he is also an agile swimmer in the water.
The plants growing on Baidude's back can act like camouflage in certain environments.
Baidude's most notable ability is that of láspikinesis, or mud manipulation. By reaching into the moss growing on his back, he can throw out globs of a sticky mud-like substance to blind opponents or cause them to slip. Baidude can also split out a massive wad of mud and mucus from his mouth in order to trap enemies as well.
Like all inhabitants of the Anur System, Milligants are immune to the effects of Corrodium.
Weaknesses: Baidude can't effectively use his láspikinesis effectively against opponents that can generate intense amount of heat or cold, such as Pyronites or Necrofriggians.
Milligants aren't as strong as other alien species, such as Tetramands.
A Milligants bite force is significantly weaker than that of a Piscciss Volann and thus they are incapable of biting through certain objects. They also can't open their jaws as wide or fit as large or many objects inside.
Though Baidude is able to walk on land, he's not nearly as able-bodied as he is underwater.
Despite being most aquatic and capable of holding their breath for prolonged periods of time, Milligants still require air. Likewise, they must stay hydrated otherwise they, the moss on their backs, and the mud-like substance that they produce will dry out.
Etymology: Baidude's name is a portmanteau of the words "bayou" - another term for a swamp or bog - and "dude".
Trivia: The species' name comes from their home planet, Milligan.
The species' home world is an anagram of "Gill-man", a famous movie monster otherwise known as the Creature from the Black Lagoon from the movie of the same name. Like the other inhabitants of the Anur System, this references their appearance towards famous movie monsters.
Baidude shares similarities to Grass-type Pokemon, namely a symbiotic relationship with plants that grow from their bodies.
Baidude has a Dimension 23 counterpart named Mudgator.
Milligants aren't born with the moss that grows from their backs. Upon hatching, young Milligants will quickly roll around in the mud of the fog-cloaked swamps that cover a vast majority of their home world, encouraging the growth of an extraterrestrial species of algae in clumps soil located under their scales. As they age, the moss grows to become a thick cape whose roots embed themselves into their circulatory and respiratory systems, providing them with extra oxygen as a trade off for being carried to sunny patches of swamp for photosynthesis. Furthermore, the algae produces a nutrient-rich slime similar to mud that is vital to the development of young Milligants, as well as a defense mechanism for when they become older.
While ferocious predators in their own right, Milligants love nothing more than honing their combat skills by having a mudball fight with one another.
Mud is a central part of Milligant culture. In fact, it's their primary building material and they readily use it to make small hunts similar to those made of adobe brick. Like Earth termites, by mixing in their saliva in with the mud, it quickly hardens into a rock solid substance stronger than concrete.
Disclaimer: I do not own Ben 10.
Ben 10 is owned by Man of Action and Cartoon Network.
I do not own Baidude. This is merely my interpretation.
Do not use this version of Baidude without Shadow-DJ 's permission.

I’m curious, do you have ideas for any other Anur aliens? Maybe you could do an invisible man alien or a mad scientist alien?

Other than for the other planets we never got to see, not really. While an 'Invisible Man' alien would certainly be interesting (have yet to do an alien with invisibility as it's main power - then again, that's Chamalien's thing), 'mad scientist' is more of an occupation than a species. Really, any member of a species with an immense intellect could be consider a mad scientist, so long as they have complete disregard for experimentation and the laws of science.

Appearance-wise, their stance would go from a bipedal form that's slightly hunched over to something more akin to a dinosaur. As such, their tails have dramatically lengthened and strengthened in order to balance themselves, as well as develop a set of large, oar-like scales to act as a tail fluke. Their knuckles would become larger as they would resort to using them like an extra pair of legs, which would allow for them to grow much, much bigger - with their devolved form being about ten feet tall, they would be able to grow to a length of forty feet, with their tail covering about 15 feet or so of that. Furthermore, they would develop a pair of large sails on their backs, a bulging throat pouch like a bullfrog, a series of armored plating on their backs, shoulders, and legs. Most notable however, their entire back would be covered in a small ecosystem, complete with small trees and lots of low-lying vegetation, all of which is a part of their biology; the Ultimatrix would be located on a collar around their neck.
Power-wise, they would possess an incredible bite force, much more powerful than before, and be very adept at swimming, to the point where he can stay underwater for hours on end and absorb extra oxygen into his bloodstream from the ecosystem on his back. most notably however, they naturally secret mud from their skin and use it for a variety of applications. Overall though, they don't get a massive power spike.
Evolutionary-wise, they probably achieved this form after the Anur System's barely functioning sun evolved into a red giant, allowing for more light to penetrate their planet's atmosphere and thus, create a warmer environment. This led to a rising in sea levels and temperature, which led to the creation of a near global swamp surrounded by shallow seas. This, in turn, led to a highly productive food chain, which more than allowed the Milligants to achieve their tremendous size and strength - they need it, of course. Such an abundance of food however, means that there are more species to compete with for it, meaning that the Milligants either had to become indisputable apex predators or risk stealing scraps from other, killer carnivores. Instead, they opted for a compromise - since it takes such a long time for their offspring to obtain such size and strength, plenty of time in which they could be offed by another predator looking for a meal/to remove the competition, they use the ecosystems on their backs as a secondary food source if their regular sources of food are unavailable for one means or another.

Could they still walk on two legs if needed

Like I said, they can switch between both stances if needed. They'd just walk like a Tyrannosaurus Rex instead of a human

If you mean this version, yes. But you’d also have to ask Shadow-DJ as well, since they’re the original creator; I just made the art work.

Actually, it should be Baidude who's sweating. I specifically designed him so that Ripjaws would have the superior jaw strength, but Baidude would be able to last longer out of the water. I try to do this with any new aliens I make that share similar powers with the canon aliens so that they don't become redundant or obsolete.

yeah
i know alot of cryptids
and there was this old series on animal planet called lost tapes which was crap but was at time geunally scary
the honey island swamp monster is said to be a hybrid between a gator and a sasquatch
which is virtully impossible
but in the episode it appears on screen
and my thought is
SOMEBODY OUNCE TOLD ME THE WORLD IS GONNA ROOL ME I AINT THE SHARPEST TOOL IN THE SHED

Killer Croc would like to have a word with your new creation. Lol. Kidding, although that would be a fun fight to see. Looks awesome, man. Wonder how he'd fare against Vilgax's "Unleash The Kraken!" aquatic form...
Jeez, everybody knows how to keep you very busy, huh? That explains your vanishing act here... By any chance, have you seen my comments about those other just-for-fun OUAT music ideas after the Ticking Time Bomb (Ben/Lizzie) one? I admit I'm still curious about what you'd think.

That's fair XP
Also yeah, Baidude's mud is actually fairly mucus like since it comes out of his body but it mixes with the soil that gets clumped in the moss growing on it, for those wondering when you first arrive It kinda gets a sort of greenish tint like swamp muck.
