Hail the conquering hero! Da-nah-nah-nah! That's right everyone, I'm celebrating 100 deviations! Admittedly, not as landmark-able as say, 100 watchers or something, but definetly worth noting!

Anyway, Derrick J. Wyatt is notorious for throwing out the names of fake Ben 10 aliens among the reals ones to throw nosy fans of the show off the trail so that the eventual debut will be more of a surprise than a somewhat cheap thriller (think of it like that one guy that spoils the movie you were waiting to see all week). Some fans have taken these names and made actual aliens out of them and, with the assistance and at the request of the aforementioned , I have done the same.

Onto the facts!

Name: Murphybed

Species: Ibikixson

Homeworld: Nemuinimos IV

Personality: Murphybed is very lazy and upon being transformed into by Ben, will usually plop down and fall right asleep, no matter where he is.

Powers/abilities: Thanks to his shaggy coat of fur that drapes along his back, from which dandruff laced with specialized chemicals will fly forth from, Murphybed is capable of putting people to sleep, almost effective immediately. This power can be condensed down to a single target is Murphybed is able to wrap his body around an individual and hold them in place, upon which they will fall asleep as well. The dandruff from Murphybed's back gives victims who are subjected to it weird dreams, some of which can occasionally reveal information.

Ibikixson have an enhanced sense of smell and hearing that make up for their lack of functioning eyes. Their main source of sensing their environment however, is by picking up vibrations through their feet. This is how Ibikixson communicate over long distances, sending low frequencies through the ground to talk to one another so as not to disturb one another's sleep.

An Ibikixson's skull is very durable and can be used as a battering ram.

Murphybed is incredibly strong and has been known to take down and hold onto powerful opponents with ease, such as Princess Looma Red Wind, much like a child would hold onto a favorite stuffed toy.

Murphybed can release a powerful yawn from his maw that will trigger the sleeping instincts of anyone within hearing range. It has been reported to sound very similar to the sound of rain drumming on a roof and has the faint odor of warm milk as well.

Weaknesses: Despite his immense strength, size, and durability, Murphybed is rarely suitable for combat as he spends most of his time asleep. It is nearly impossible to wake him up once he's fallen asleep and it is even harder to try and move him once he is in such a state. The only known ways to wake him up are to either wait for the Omnitrix to time out, to transform him into another alien, or for a Neumina to sing him a lullaby; a recording will also suffice.

Ibikixson's can not see in color or detail that involves less than three dimensions, thus making it impossible for them to read anything with writing or to identify individuals from anything but their physical form.

Etymology: Murphybed's name is an amalgamation of the words "bed", referencing his sleep-based powers, and "Murphy", which references "Murphy's Law". This states that "if anything can go wrong, it will", which generally seems to be an appropriate response whenever Ben transforms into Murphybed.

Trivia: The species name derives from the Japanese phrase for "I snore".

Murphybed resembles an illustration of the Boroboroton, a type of Japanese Yokai, from Toriyama Sekien 's Hyakki Tsurezure Bukuro. He also shares some traits with Experiment 077, Zawp , from Lilo and Stitch. Other inspirations include elephants and moles.

Murphybed does have eyes, but they are permanently sealed by layers of skin, thus making them quite useless for anything but detecting light and dark. Azmuth predicts that in a few million years - maybe even less - Ibikixsons will be just as blind as Vulpimancers.

The holes along a Ibikisons arms are actually his nostrils. When air is exhaled, the holes unintentionally amplify the sound to tremendous volumes and have been known to be faintly heard from several nearby star systems, occasionally keeping the inhabitants awake at night. Nemuina and all that are within their grasp, as well as put to sleep by them, are immune to the horrendous noise.

Ibikixsons are fully capable of entering two states. One is hibernation state from which it is nearly impossible for them to wake from and the second is a state of being awake that is similar to sleep walking, which allows them to move around and perform tasks as needed all while staying asleep. Ben has yet to master this technique, which is why he almost always instantly falls asleep whenever he turns into Murphybed.

Nemuinas and Ibikixsons share a symbiotic relationship with one another. Ibikixsons serve as a means of muscle and transport for Nemuina, who act as drivers and directors for their blind companions, as well as living mattresses for them to sleep upon. In return, the Nemuina will serenade them awake whenever it is requested of them - a Nemunia's lullaby can put almost any living creature to sleep, even themselves, with the exception of the Ibikixsons. It has the reverse affect and has been compared to having a foghorn being blown in ones ear, albeit a very melodic and pleasing foghorn.
