Description Mister Oogie Boogie says, "there's trouble close at hand"! You better pay attention now, 'cause I'm the Boogeyman! And if you aren't shakin', there's somethin' very wrong, 'cause may be the last time you hear the Boogie Song! Woah! Well, guess what time it is? Yep, you guessed it: double creature feature! I'm back to what (arguably) do best, creating new Omnitrix aliens for your viewing and transforming pleasure! In the spirit of this glorious holiday, I give you (finally) a drawing of another alien of my creation that I have used for my current story, whose link is down below.

Onto the facts!

Name: Phantux

Species: Draugnurite

Homeworld: Anur Phaetos (native), Anur Transyl

Powers/abilities: Phantux's powers are similar to that of Ghostfreak's, in the aspect that they are composed of several prospects of traditional ghosts from myths and lore, such as hovering and phasing through solid matter, making his intangibility a powerful defense as well as a means of infiltrating high-security locations. He is capable of making other objects or people intangible and transparent as well through physical contact. Phantux can phase parts of himself through people to cause them pain or to shock them into submission, and can also make people feel deathly cold by moving through them.

Phantux can fly, has a movable eye, can become invisible, and can survive in space. He is able to possess the bodies of his enemies and control their movements, to the point where he can cause them to fly like himself, allowing him to freely slam them against walls or hit themselves. He can also access the abilities of other beings that possess superpowers.

Draugnurites can use their dexterous and powerful tentacles to grab onto objects and behave like whips. The tentacles are always exposed.

Draugnurites have no life force in the conventional sense.

Phantux can rotate his skull.

Phantux's most notable ability however, is that he is capable of creating illusions through the use of a special gas that targets the senses of potential enemies and makes them see things that aren't truly there. He can use this ability to project multiple images of himself as a means of confusion or create a horrifying and terrible face in order to frighten opponents with, as well as using his gas in a more simple manner as a smoke bomb for quick escapes and assassin-like tactics.

Unlike Ectonurites, Draugnurites are immune to sunlight.

Weaknesses: Despite their immunity to sunlight, Draugnurites are physically weaker than Ectonurites and their abilities are less powerful as a result.

Much like other intangible beings, certain substances can neutralize Phantux's intangibility and his invisibility.

Though he is able to fly, he is not very fast in the air, and therefore must rely on his intangibility and invisibility to evade attacks.

His intangibility is useless when faced by another being that can go intangible.

Magic can also harm Phantux.

Draugnurites cannot possess beings who have no mind, like a zombie for example.

Etymology: Phantux's name derives from the words 'phantom' and 'tuxedo', referencing both his ghost-like appearance and his tuxedo-like skin.

Trivia: Draugnurite derives from the Icelandic word "draugnur", which means "ghost".

Phantux's bow-tie is similar to that of Jack Skellington's from The Nightmare Before Christmas.

Draugnurites are in a fact a subspecies of Ectonurite.

Draugnurites are not an overly appreciated species. Despite their advantage of sunlight immunity over their much more powerful cousins, Draugnurites are seen as a plague by Ectonurites and are a source of constant abuse and mistreatment by the species for reasons not entirely known, though it is assumed that the Ectonurites are annoyed that they have a disadvantage over their weaker relatives. This continuous misconduct forced Draugnurites to evolve their illusion-creating abilities in order to avoid constant injury and eventually led to a civil war between the two species over who had proper control over their home planet and the Anur System as a whole, with the Draugnurites using their brains and the Ectonurites using their brawn to settle things.

Azmuth predicts that the civil war between Draugnurites and Ectonurites will end horribly and potentially result in the extinction of both species by the hands of the rest of the Anur System's inhabitants, similar to how the Vladats were wiped out so long ago by the Transylian after eons of slavery.

What do you think a biominictrix fusion of this form and GhostFreak would be like?

I can't really answer this because Phantux is in the process of being redesigned, due to not really fitting his name well enough.

Sort of. He's still as vicious and temperamental as the Ectonurites, but he's more classy-looking.

Kinda. It's semi-Transylvanian. I say that because it isn't as thick as Whampire's.

Cool! Does he act like a gentleman (a la Brainstorm and/or Mole-Stache)?

Eh, not so much. Unlike some of Ben's transformations, he doesn't have much of a personality.

Neat design, he's like the unholy fusion of Ghostfreak, Slenderman and Jack Skellington.

Yeah, I'm a fan of Danny Phantom. Not as big of a fan as I am of Ben 10, but I definitely love the show and I would LOVE to see a reboot (and by reboot, I mean a GOOD one, like TMNT 2012 or Samurai Jack)).

That, and the theme song is one of the catchiest ones I know

Oh okay. Oh and one last thing. Do you think the Anur system should a Witch based species? I mean in the Ben 10 universe all the classical monsters are actual aliens that started up the myths like the mummy, zombies, werewolves, Frankenstein monsters, and vampires, so it would only make sense to throw in a witch alien right? Tell me what do you think?

CreaturemasterProds In reply to Multiomniversal124 [2017-04-04 01:30:57 +0000 UTC]

Hmm, that does make sense. I technically already have a few magic-based aliens, specifically Tankerbell but she's more modeled after an enchantress than anything else. A possibly all female witch-like race (I say all female because a male would technically be a wizard and they aren't as terrifying as witches are. They're more considered to be sagely and wise if anything else) could definitely work and round out the Anur System family (it's highly suspected that the other Anur planets are home to Creature from the Black Lagoona-like aliens, skeleton aliens, and as we all know, alien zombies).
