Description Part three, I suppose, lol.

Had a few people tell me there weren't any (or enough) deer tutorials and references, so here we go! More information, different movements and tail signals.

Hope this helps people!

thank you!
this is very helpful, often I end up at a loss for how to pose deer and give them horsey poses

All your deer tutorials are very very useful. I never did a deer in my life, so I was completely lost, without knowing exactly how it to do it (and only from my memory was just impossible to do it.)

It helped me a lot. Thank you for sharing.

You're very welcome! I'm glad you found them useful. :> Had to do something with all of my knowledge on deer when it's not hunting season!

Most of this is pretty good, but I can't help but notice the large side view of the buck- the legs look far too small to support him. Legs also look rather short in the smaller side view of the doe near the bottom. I think ultimately it would be a better choice to have that fourth deer with the raised tail actually fleeing. If you were to be marketing this somehow, you could get really picky about the text and alignment of things too, but the rest is pretty useful information with clear illustrations!

Thank you very much for the input. :>

I actually traced right over my skeleton that I used in the anatomy section, to which I used a reference for, for the doe and the buck, to make sure that my own anatomy would be to scale (though now looking back at it, the doe's legs are a tad short, lol thanks for pointing that out!)

Ultimately I did this to help people understand the animal and to understand the signals they give with their tails, since I've noticed a lot of artists that draw deer usually always have their tails up and the like, so I wanted to explain the tail signals in an easy, clear way. That's why the fourth isn't fleeing.

Some deer are short-legged; take piebalds for instance. They tend to be shorter-legged than their peers, but retain the same body length. Kinda like dachshund. If I create another installment of this, though, I'll keep your advice in mind!
