Or maybe can just voice act in the Youtube video instead, the person will do it for free upon editing.

I'd actually like to see her and other pony fan voices enter the profession.Β Some of them probably will.

Well, depends, it's not easy to get in at the very start. Employers tend to "you're wasting my time, I already got existing experienced voice actor. 10 times more expensive than you" kind of thinking.

True, but there must always be new people entering the profession, else all voice actors would die out.

I gotta say...this is my favorite episode of the series!!!!
AAAHHHH!Β IΒ cannot tell you how much really loved this 100th episode, even if it was written by larson. I was speechless. I mean, The story was great, the plot done really well, and I especially loved the voice actors for every character. Derpy perhaps had the best voice actor and I am so glad Hasbro kept the crossed eyes. The characters that the fandom ships with went perfect in this episode. I was surprised to see some of them return from previous seasons, even steven magnet.
I'm really glad Vinyl Scratch kept silent since we all know Nowacking is the "voice actor" of vinyl.
The princesses, except for twilight, were put in perfectly, even luna and celestia arguing over the presents.Β
This is an episode that gave off a great moral lesson about the stories we read as people. The story does have its main characters but it cannot forget the background characters s well and how they too cna be part of the story.
This episode deserves an A infinite + for everything. Only have one question: what the hell is a bug bear and why is it in the form of a bumblebee?

The random Changeling while a shoutout to the first wedding became the local changeling.. Who would've guessed that Bon Bon was the fruitcake?.. There's going to be some fanconon changing.. Gummy. my friend I had no idea we shared so much in common.. The Doc's house and personality was more of a Doctor Who and Doc Brown mix with steampunk and other doodads thrown in for me than simple Doctor Who but it nay take time forΒ that partΒ to set in the headcanon of most fans... A most enjoyable episode.. I think with this one we will see more quality episodes and after a few Eh episodes it felt good to have a good one!

My review:
Well our background pony episode is here, and how does it stand up? Amazing. I love the crazy, chaotic feel of the episode, it feels like a metaphore for how crazy fanbases can be. The only time it felt like it was "In your face" with the referances was a bit of Mayor Mares dialouge at the end. Even though most of it was referencing the fandom...I will be honest. I only got a few referances. The Dr. Whooves stuff, Derpy, Lyra X Bon Bon (Also, I love how Bon Bon is a spy and Lyra is the normal one. That was a great twist), as well as the Octavia and Vynal stuff. This episode was a fun ride from beginning to end and Gummy's inner monolouge....amazing man....amazing. I LOVE that they gave Gummy a reason he just stands there. He is not stupid, he is a genius and is always deep in thought. I have never once seen that idea among the fans, and I loved it. Plus, it feels like 22 short films about Springfield. There is no doubt that Larson was having a lot of fun with this episode, and what seemed like a risky idea, turned out amazing in execution. Alomst everything felt natural, and would have still been fun even if I didn't know it was referances to the fandom. Plus...the biggest shipping fuel ever in the show, and...probobly one of my favorite scenes was the whole bit with Lyra and Bon Bon. Plus the Bass Cannon is now canon.
This episode truly does feels special, and I feel like how the ponies felt at the weding of Cranky and Mathilda. I was honored to have seen it.Honestly, I found this episode's rushed chaotic tone, to actually be a VERY cleaver thing. Knowing that it is an episode based on the fanbase, I think it is a cleaver meta-joke about how chaotic the fanbase is, plus it is VERY chaotic when one is trying to plan a weading so the tone, story, and the main focus of the episode all flow together perfectly. The humor is among the show's best.
This after an episode about the grieving process (Tanks for the Memories), shows that they are taking big risks with this season and they are paying off big time. As much as I love Lauren Faust and her work...the show has improved since her leaving and Meagan is doing a MUCH better job!

It wasn't good or bad. I would give a 5/10, which is perfectly average. When I go into an episode like this, I hope my head canons are distorted. Β And they were.Β
I was expecting dumb fun and I got what I wanted in that regard.

So it was a episode that targeted bronies. The things the doctor was saying was too complex for a little girl to understand. So congrats on having one episode that was dedicated to the bronie community.
Thanks to this we get a more personality on some of the background ponies. The one that empress me the most is Doctor. Not just that they made him act almost like the doctor but his intelligent, he is a good candidate to be paired with Twilight but I do like the idea of him being with Derpy

The two kids I watched this were howling with laughter, so I don't know where this elitist 'the kids won't get it' jingoism has swept in from but it needs to stop. Kids don't 'get' alot of things when they're young, including in disney movies and many other cartoons, it doesn't stop them from loving and appreciating the things adults around them create. Brony originated or not.
And the little girl was absolutely in love with Octavia by the end of this episode so I call it job well done. She had a plush toy of her but didn't really know much else other than she's 'the grey pony', now I think she might be her favourite character seeing as she was asked to be tucked in with her that evening.

This episode was silly, but in a fun way. It didn't exactly take itself seriously, but still told a nice story at the same time. This was an episode that I felt was solely meant to cater to the fan base, and pulled it off spectacularly. It's easily the best episode of the season so far. The rest of the season has quite the big shoes to fill in if it's going to top it. It earns the A+ from me, with a Mane 7 seal of approval.

I know, is nice to see our little background babies there.
We feeded them for years... they grew important and strong...
But this episode was a milestone to the show. Could been way better for 100 episodes. They just whored out the episode making it mere fanservice.

I will talk in metaphors, so the dumb people won't spam this post with insults.
So you see, I like to drink a cup of tea now and then. As an Englishman, I am quite sure you know how great a nice cup of tea can taste like. And sometimes, a spoon full of sugar or two can make the whole tea even better. However, too much sugar turns the whole tea into better sugar-water and makes you wonder what was in the cup before you threw all the sugar into it.
When todays episode started, the first clips before the opening was like a good cup of tea with just the right amount of sugar. But the moment the intro was over, it felt like someone had drowned the teacup with the content of two or three BAGS of sugar - it seemed to me like a whole different product.
And well, if you are coming for something with a huge amount of sugar, like cheap lemonade or a candy bar, that's fine. But if you are trying to address those people who came for the great tea you used to sell with the wonderful flavour with just the right balance of fragances and maybe, sometimes, a bit of sugar in it to make it a bit more delightful... well, those people would be terribly disappointed and wonder what's so special about this cheap glass of lemonade will all the sugar.
After all, for me, it's all too sweet and missing a lot of quality.
