Eagle-eyed parents throughout the United States are furious after spotting a number of sex toys in the latest episode of My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic – including a body pillow featuring a popular character on its cover.

I think this is rather ridiculous, I don't even think the "body pillow" meant to show sexual pony poses. "Bondage Gear" , wh- what? she's tied fully in rope, not with any "revealing" parts of her body sticking out. Daring Doo is just in a comical "Oh no i'm in trouble!" pose.
Also showing that one single frame from the show is just being a real child about this.

exactly! according to the logic presented here every use of the "tied to the train track" bit is hard core porn, same for nearly every marvel/DC comic and just about all micky mouse/warner bros. cartoons ever made because of what the characters are wearing.(or lack there of)

No. It doesn't matter. It's a subtle-ish reference to the older fans. Kids will not understand the implied meaning of the pillow. Unless the outraged parents tell them. At which point it's their fault.

If parents really ARE upset and this isn't just another one of your click bait articles, then they're seriously reading too much into it. Cider is a metaphor for alcohol, yet I don't remember a stink over that? Or the cake children referencing infidelity/adultery? This entire episode was essentially just a fun poke at the fandom--perfectly (or coincidentally) timed to happen close after BronyCon. To kids it was nothing more than a funny pillow, if they noticed it at all. This is why we can't have adult jokes in kids shows anymore. (As in, jokes for adults, not necessarily naughty jokes.) Know how many BLATANTLY naughty jokes and references went over my head as a kid watching 90's cartoons? Every single one of them. Kids won't notice things like that unless they've already been introduced by someone close to them, which is where parents should be turning their concerns if their kids ask questions. Whiney idiots.

The cake children are a pegasus and unicorn whereas Mr. and Mrs. Cake are earth ponies. When asked about that odd little fact, Mr. Cake says something about his wife's "distant cousin twice removed" was a pegasus and some other distant relative was a unicorn. Then says, "That makes sense, right?" with a somewhat worried/confused look on his face, implying Mrs. Cake had an affair and conceived.

Aside from that, yeah sorry, I was shocked to see it but like all adult jokes in kid's shows, it went over ever little kid's head. Those types of jokes have been around since the beginning of cartoons so it's fine.
On another note, this was by far the best episode of season 6. I felt almost like I was watching an action movie it was that refreshing. All previous episodes had insane amounts of problems and I'm happy to see one nice episode from this season. Also, I hated Quibble. So.....fucking.....annoying.

The problem with implying things is that someone could miss the implication and thing the worst.
