To me, that picture looks like Rainbow Dash is tackle hugging that pony, as if she hasn't seen him in a while. Honestly, I think if any children might notice those particular pillows, they will consider it to be just toys. I mean, seriously, tied up in a bondage gear? WTF? Daring Do is tied up many times when held captive by the baddies. I would hardly consider an ordinary rope and nothing else to be a bondage gear.
The fact that the mothers are concerned about their daughters being tought to satisfies of MEN, when it obviously isn't the case. Hell, MLP is probably the most women empowering thing ever, teaching them to deal with stuff rationally and without unnecessary tantrums with positive and varied characters. It makes me believe this is yet another non-issue brought forth by the SJW/radical feminism movement brainwashing offened by literally anything.
And that part about the one frame when Rainbow jumps at Quibble, that's just plain irrational. OMFG, they are having FUN together. FUN. How is that apropriate?!? SOMEBODY THINK OF THE CHILDREN!

It would be a shame if they decided to make MLP fall into its old tracks (by that I mean pre-FiM, pre-Lauren Faust, basically absolutelly "safe" toy commercial).
As a general viewer of cartoons I would by quiet disappointed. I enjoyed watching Aniamiacs and Spongebob when I was little and I enjoy them as well now when I am older. Those also were criticized by parents who felt artists and companies should do the parenting job for them.
It's ironic really, because honestly, as I have said, I can't imagine a better medium for moral lessons and upbringing than MLP FiM. Not only is it well written comedy and has those little hidden adult jokes, but the messages are wonderful.
So hopefully Hasbro will stay firm. I feel confident they will. After all, the community generates quiet a bit of revenue for them and as any other company, they go where the money is.
Then again, maybe removing these kinds of jokes won't really harm it. The core of MLP FiM are dialogues and characters building off each other in funny situations/relatable situations.
Unless they decide to adress the Rainbow playing/jumping on/tickling Quibble. That is just purely delusional. How can somebody find that few frames problematic is beyond me.
