I got sick of all the flaws in it, so I finally did a long long overdue overhaul and update. XP

First off, I meshed out a new pair of shoulder pads, using the Brawl version of Samus' suit for reference, which looks MUCH better.

Second I redid all of the textures, mostly just touch ups and tweaks to the existing layers, and reworked some of the uv mappings on some of the bigger problem areas, like the body, upper thighs and feet, and made it so I could texture the bottom of the shoes - that part REALLY bugged me.

Also greatly enhanced the "metal" effect.

Finally, I fixed the most annoying flaws this suit had - the texture seams ( I didn't know how to use smoothing groups back then, heh ) and I added a mesh to the helmet that now covers up the previously exposed part of the neck.

This pleases me greatly, now I just need to tweak the weighing on the body a bit, but that can wait til later.

Right now I have an updated arm cannon in the works, that opens up and fires missiles and super missiles.

Oh, and there was another update that I had previously planned to use, that had all the grooves in the suit as mesh details, but it only got past the arms and shoulders, and turned out not to be worth the effort, so I skipped it.
Also....dayam my 3d skills have improved quite a bit since then. O.O
