“Boris, do you have more weapons?” McReady asked Boris. After the assimilation of Trevor, he was sure more would die if he didn’t take matters into his own hands.
“Sure” he said “Follow me”. They walked into a room with a vault. Boris entered a combination and upon opening it, McReady was bewildered with the amount of weapons they had. Pistols, shotguns, grenades and, to his favour, flamethrowers. “Only I know the combination to that safe. “he said contently “We keep theses in here in case were attacked” McReady was puzzled by this “What things commonly attack you?” he asked. “Oh we get foreign trespassers, bears, wolves, criminal gangs that hide within the poles. It’s not very safe in this location”.

“Well let’s not waste any time” McReady said, grabbing 3 flamethrowers. HE marched back into the common room and handed Kate and Childs a flamethrower each to their surprise. “Where did you get” Kate was about to ask but couldn't finish her sentence because McReady interrupted her “Not important. What we need to do right now is to find Trevor and blast him, or else more will die” Dennis commented on this “ And where do we go?” he asked timidly. McReady responded “You lot will stay here. Boris will guard you until we get back” Boris entered the room, holding a shotgun and a rifle strapped to his back “Sure can do”.

McReady, Kate and Childs had split into 3 ways. Kate had gone down West hall, Childs went down South hall and McReady went East hall. They were communicating through radios that they'd brought with them. “Anything?” Kate asked through the radio. Childs and McReady responded “Nothing yet”. They continued searching, room by room, every corridor and hallway. Then, Childs was heard through the radio, shouting “I found him! I found him!”

McReady and Childs raced towards South hall. As they reached him, they saw that he was looking up into the roof, confused and afraid. “Where is it?!” McReady ordered. “It, it crawled into into the roof!” as he said it, footsteps could be heard making their way towards the common room. “We can’t let it get away, after it!” Kate shouted, all 3 of them running, following the footsteps. They reached the common room, and ordered the group to run “Get out of here now!”
As the group fled, the exit was blocked by Trevor whom came smashing through the roof downwards. His left arm was twisted and deformed, and parts of his trousers had been ripped apart, revealing gruesome talon like feet.

The group fled away from Trevor, their faces revealing fear and astonishment. As he moved closer to them, his face began to move, flesh bulging and blood trickling down the eyes, nose and ears. “Burn it!” Kate yelled, as she began to ready her flamethrower. Trevor noticed this, screeching at her as he took on another monstrous form. His face split into four pieces, blood squirting and flying from the split. Then a long tongue slithered from the throat. It began to rear up, pointed in the direction of Kate, and was flung towards her.

“Aaaah!” she yelped, ducking as the harpoon like tongue barely scratched her coat hoodie. The tongue retracted back into the mouth, saliva and orange ooze pulping from it as it was slurped back. Childs and McReady pointed their flamethrowers at the Trevor thing, about to shoot but suddenly trevor thing’s tongue was shot again, this time wrapping around the nozzle of Child’s flamethrower and crashed it into McReady's flamethrower. With both Childs and McReady on the floor, the tongue unwrapped itself from the flamethrower and got in a striking position, ready to attack McReady.

Then it saw Kate getting up, grasping her flamethrower. As she got on her feet, she saw various red tentacles rapidly sprout from Trevor’s back, spiraling upwards as they reached for the roof. It didn’t take her too long to know what it was doing. She positioned her flamethrower and pulled the trigger, flames spewing from the nozzle, at which point it was too late. The tentacles had hoisted Trevor upwards, smashing through the roof as he escaped, the flames barely touching his gruesome talons.

She looked through the hole silently. Snow started to come through the gap, making a small pile once it had gotten to the floor. After Childs and McReady had gotten up they began to ask themselves what to do next. Kate was thinking the same thought, and then an answer came to her mind, which she shared with the other two survivors; “We wait”.

Took me long enough to write this chapter, in which I'm sorry for the delay (even though 2 or 4 out of the 7 billion people actually take time to read these).
