I think 'strong and clear' is about right, yeah, I like art, particularly comic art, that gets across what it's trying to depict efficiently and elegantly. Artists who can capture movement, expression, time and atmosphere with bold, simple lines. I'm most attracted to work that feels loaded with energy when you look at it, stuff that almost feels like it's moving even though it's still! ^_^

Yeah I think I'm the same, I like things that are clear/straight forward/straight to the point, completely focused on the best way to express the character or story, I think thats where the raw energy comes from! (I think thats why I like your artwork too!)

Yeah,I think we're both the type of comic artists who focus on the artwork primarily as a means for conveying the characters and action to the reader. I think both of us really try to capture the energy of a moment, so we're drawn to each others' work haha!

Everybody there is American, Canadian or Japanese hahaha. If I had space for a bunch of little influences, there'd be a load of British artists on there, but they're more recent, less core influences, and also most of them are friends on DA and my contemporaries, so it'd feel a little weird hahaha!

Nope. Never been to the US. I have a number of American friends, but I've never visited. It's quite expensive to get to from here.
