I had a pretty clear idea for what this cover would be while I was drawing chapter 3. The Fan Dan Go covers I didn't really think about at the time, but they have a pretty cohesive style going on; graphic flat backgrounds with line art of the characters. It was kind of accidental, but I like it and will probably keep the theme.

Everybody gets new clothes for the new storyarc, because it's a different day. Rekki's outfit was the easiest, and the first I designed. I was thinking of changing her hairstyle, but this style just looks best on her because of the distinctive silhouette it gives.
