I like how the panel backgrounds get progressively darker. Was that intentional foreshadowing?
Well, this should be interesting, in light of the chapter five opening illustration... I am dying to figure out what that picture of Subo in flames means.

What IS the difference between lager and beer? *Doesn't drink, so wouldn't know*

I don't drink beer myself (don't particularly like it, either kind), but bitter and 'real ales' are, from what I understand, stronger and have a richer taste, closer to the beers from the 'old days'. Lager is lighter with a less bitter taste and tends to be less alcoholic, and is generally a lighter colour, golden rather than brown.
Subo's statement here is not based on my personal opinion, since I don't drink beer, but it's not dissimilar to opinions expressed by my dad and brother.
