Warning. This page contains gratuitous sound effects, sparkles and use of linear dodge. These effect-heavy pages sure take a long time! I like the bursts of color. Very... dynamic. In fact, the effect coming off Rekki's blade in the fourth panel sort of reminds me of the effects for Sol's Volcanic Viper in Guilty Gear... but I'm rambling!
I actually really <3 the cut effect in that "schop!" panel. It's like a redshifted version of something I was going to use in TnK soon...ish.
All in all, everything is good. Good writing, as usual, art that makes mine look like hell, and that unique, super-colorful FanDanGo flavor. (You should really do an Indiemanga column on doing backgrounds sometime! I'd love to learn your technique.)

Thanks, Blackmoon. Backgrounds? I guess you probably mean the pattern ones not the scenery ones. I usually trawl the internet for photoshop brushes and patterns. Sometimes I use manga screentones. Occasionally it's just the Photoshop shape tool or the gradient tool. It's all about using very simple techniques but using them imaginatively and picking the right colours, I guess.

Its great how balanced the lighting and color composition is, with the monsters being all black next to super saturated color
panel 2 is awesome, though panel 4 is pretty kickass too
