I had to CG this page. There was simply no way I'd be able to get the effect I wanted without using CG. This is one of my favourite pages so far. Over the top battles are fun! ^_^Related content

This is my favoite page so far ^_^!!! It loks so pretty! I relaly can't think of any other words to really describe it becasue my vocabulary feels really empty right now...
The color adds so much to it... Are you going to do more pages in color like this?

Hmmm, it does make creating the comic take a fair bit longer, but you can expect to see colour pages at least 2-3 times per chapter (Of course, the covers will always be in colour as well). It does look very nice, but as I usually say, the comic takes longer than it ought to to begin with. I'm a real perfectionist, so even simple looking cels may have taken a good hour to get just right, and that's without colour!

I've been known to be a perfectionist and I had origionally tried to do entity in color...it took me way too long...
yeah i know that it's kinda impossible to do every page like that but my point is that i really like these little treats of color every once and a while. ^_^ keep it up

Okay, so they fight with draws.
What do they do once the swords are out? It must be hard to draw them again after that.

The draw can only be used once in a while (Rekki can use it more than most people because she has a lot of power) Once they're out, they swordfight more normally, some knights also have magic, but it's not like Naruto with the whole 'ha! My jutsu beats your jutsu' thing. Many fights between knights are over after just the draw because that's the most powerful part.

It would be cool if there was someone who had, like, four or five swords, and he would fight just by drawing them in rapid succession.
Does the draw technique work with anything other than swords? Could someone use it with knives, for example? I noticed that what's-her-name has a dinky little half-sword, which looks like its only good for drawing, not fighting.
By the way, this page looks wickedly swank.

Ahhh, the reason you can't draw lots isn't because the sword runs out of energy, it's because YOU run out of energy. So technically you could draw lots of swords, but you'd run out of magic and...er...die (or just fall unconcious if you're lucky!). It could be a very good technique, but it'd be a suicide attack unless maybe you had a magic count like Rekki's.
However, if you have a katana, a well made one, they channel energy more effeciently than most other blades, and can store energy within them, so Sarin can draw her sword a lot more than she ought to be able to with her rather poor magic count. Sarin also uses some Samurai techniques as well as knight techniques, so has some draws that are unique to her.
Rocket (with the pathetic tiny sword) actually can't use normal draws because she's got an elemental magic count of 14 (average being 100, Rekki being 285!!!) which is why her hair is pure white. I think later on she'll get some really awesome draws once she gets the hang of her rather interesting abilities...I just wanna do a strip where she draws her sword and spins it on her finger using the ring on the top, like a cowboy drawing a gun! ^_^'

nice..i take it you used a variety of media b/c along with digital i think i see marker and colored pencil? I really like the types of color you use...theyre vibrant but not so vibrant that they kill your eyes. The two middle panels are my fave of the page b/c the shading on the faces and hair is superb
