I actually at first thought I'd to this page with chibis, but thinking about it, it's the situation from Rekki's perspective, and Rekki probably wouldn't think in typical big eyed chibis. I decided to simplify the characters in a way that looked funny and kind of cute, but in an un-cute way (does that make sense? ...probably not) Rekki's mind works in a very straighforward, no-nonsense way, I think.
I really wanted to get as much plot across as I could get in a page without it turning into 'Errant Story plotline soup' (If you've read the latest few chapters of the well known webcomic 'Errant Story' you'll know what I mean) where there's just tonnes and tonnes of plot info nobody could care less about.
I wanted something funny to finish the page, and realised that by now, Subo muct really be wondering what he's got himself into. If you met a petite teenager in the woods and she suddenly turned out not only to be really powerful, but showed no concern about you, didn't introduce herself and started saying stuff like 'this should be interesting' when you're possibly being hunted by guys you can't detect, you'd get pretty worried.
