TEN PAGES! woo! ...that might not seem like a lot to most people, but for somebody like me with a dreadful attention span, it's pretty good ^_^ Go me!...I hope I'm not introducing everybody too quickly. Apart from this chapter's antagonist everybody has been introduced now, so you won't have to worry too much. Sarin is a cool character to draw, she's the tallest of the female characters and probably the only person with a decent haircut in the whole comic (hahaha...I'm so bad at giving my characters realistic hairstyles).
This page was extremely annoying. For some reason it took far longer than a page of two people talking ought to. Sarin being tall makes her much easier to work with in situations like this, because a taller person bossing around a shorter person is easier to draw than Rocket getting angry at Juliet, or worse, Rekki bossing Subo about (of course, I think if I ever have to draw Rocket bossing Subo, I'll just go insane because it'll look so silly).
Anyway, It'll be back to Rekki and Subo again next comic, and the plot will begin to roll like Queen Brahne on a steep hill (sorry, geeky joke there).

Yeah, it's funny that I've improved like that, maybe it's just that I'm settling into comic drawing and getting used to how to go about it. The line quality definitely looks better in this new one. Normally I'm a very 'one off' artist, drawing isolated images, so a comic presents some challenges for me. I'm getting a better grasp of how to use blank space now, I think I was a little 'space phobic' when I started.

ello, just noticed a crit, I think their ears may be too low down on their head - is this intentional?? I like Sarin's hair, what colour is it? Ooh, and the background is really effective in this one, it's nice and open, contrasts with the close-up in the middle of that page

Teon (the name of the minor pointless guy) has his ears mostly correct (as the tops of the ears are supposed to level with the middle of the eyes) though they're a little off on the close-up. Sarin's are off, unintentionally because I'm not used to drawing her as much as the other characters, the problem being that Sarin's eyes are at a different angle to the other characters' who's eyes all have flat bottom lids. The other reason being that I really hate drawing big head shots like that and I actually messed it up less than I thought I would.
If you care to look at my gallery, Sarin is lurking in the background of the 500 hits drawing with hair hair in it's glorious 'slightly darker than but very similar to Rei Ayanami' slightly hazy sky blue colour. On that picture her skin is the wrong colour though, it's not supposed to be a lot darker than the other characters', just a more golden as opposed to pinkish shade because she's half 'Ooshimajin' (They're basically Japanese. Just like how the Anglise are basically English).
