Yahaaar! It be page five!Unfortunately my scanner here at Uni is not as good as the huge one at home (which my sister bought to scan slides, she does nature photography because she's a Zoologist working for the World owl trust and also writes the nature column in the local paper.) I tried to get it to roughly the same size and quality as previous pages. To be honest, this page posed lots of niggling problems and I don't like it much. Subo just doesn't look right in the first panel. I am proud of the blood though, I used a brush pen and it came out great.
Back at Uni...blarg...won't be able to update as often for a few weeks while I run around going "AAAAGH! DEADLINES!!! STUPID UCHI SOTO CONCEPT! GAAAH!"
Still, I have a lot more resolve for doing thic comic than I ever had with previous attempts at making them.

Nice brushed look and tones to the pages with the pen. Will the last panel get the extra touch as well?

Nah, the last panel I liked the rough, sketchiness. It'd lose it's immediacy if I inked it. This is a multimedia comic, so I use whatever style I feel suits a cel, just because it isn't inked, doesn't mean it isn't finished.

I should still be updating, but just not as much. I tend to draw when I feel the need to relax, so you never know, I might draw more! I generally takes a total of three hours to make a comic if I add it all up.
Heheh. Yeah, Subo is tall, he's 6'4", of course, Rekki is petite, so most characters look tall next to her (but she's still taller than me! hahaha). I wanted the leading man to be a big chunky guy, just because I'm bored of all the skinny bishounen you get when people make comics. He's a very cuddly looking guy, I think ^_^

Well, yknow... its cool that youve made him different from the average bishounen.. but whenever a good story is told , the reader accepts the hero with all his traits, just coz of teh way its created appeals i guess. ^^
