Ooh, it's a flashback! This flashback just had to be in the rain. It came out better than I thought it would. It occured to me while drawing it that water should be everywhere, pouring down them, flying everywhere when Sarin is shouting, just to make it worse that they're miserable, they're soaked to the skin too.Did Rekki cry? I'll leave that one for you to decide.

Yes this is pimped, but what could really improve it would be shading to the girl in the middle, its what totally draws off this piece. You wouldn't expect such light contrast with rain. Clothing gets darker so the fact you didn't shade her, makes it seem less effective.

Meh, we live and learn. FanDanGo is a 'style experiment', so each page is a learning experience for me. If something works well, I keep it, if it doesn't, I make sure that in later pages I do things differently. If I were to ever publish the comic, I would redo the whole thing to make it more consistant, more printer friendly and to go back an change quite a few things, especially on the early pages. This version of the comic is already 'version 7', the 'web version' which was actually fit for upload, unlike the older versions, because I'd got the plot and characters sorted and refined. The 'print version' if I ever make it, will be 'version 8' in which the style and drawing have been sorted. At the moment, I'm still learning as I go along, and just trying my best to get a story from my head to the page.

...does that mean I'm not 'underrated' anymore? ...I was getting pretty used to being 'underrated'...yeah, out on the fringe with my hippie comic with manly looking women and English slang words...Now people might read it! Ack! Scary! ...nah, even if it's pimped, I'm still fringey....yeah...Fringes are cool...

Well I hope you learned from the last page, but if you ever need any advice or help (Though it doesnt look like you need any, your coming along fast!) just ask.
As for the pimping, yeah - its nothing big - but dont worry your still fringe material. Hell, I'm fringe material.
If you redo the works, will you be coloring it? Or at least getting it colored, or will it be black and white manga?

I dunno. I'm not a great CG'er (or I don't think so anyway, which generally means I don't live up to my own perfectionist standards). I think any printed version would be entirely black and white (greyscale) (but it wouldn't be so bad, since the artwork would look better to make up for the colour pages being gone).
The way I thought it out was that I would keep the 'web version' up, and publish the 'print version (please note that I'm talking some way in the future now. I gotta finish at very least 'book one' which is the first two storyarcs). The print version you would be getting something a little bit different and more refined than the web version, which my regular readers have said they'd buy if it existed. So it'd be the same story, but done up all spiffy and professional looking.

Black and white is totally fine, some people prefer it. Since color makes the comic alot shorter and long to produce. Some people who love a good story rather then pure perfect art. (Not saying your work is bad!) But you have a definate good story and good method to present it.

Thanks, I liked this page. The boxes I wanted to be pretty minimal, more like you'd see in a Shoujo manga. I like all three of the cels on this page, which is unusual for me.

I was going to put rain in on tha panel, put it came to a point where I thought 'this page will look too busy and you won't be able to see the lovely droplets flying off Sarin....Well, it could be that they were under the awning of a shop, or a covered walkway or bus stop at that point, so out of the rain, or you could just assume that I left it to the reader's imagination that it was raining right through the scene. Whichever works. I hate making decidions like that though.

Well, I just like using a lot of fonts, and this is an amateur comic, I'm not trying to get it published or anything.
