It has just occured to me that Sarin has been monologuing for five pages now...
I think Sarin will be remembered as 'The angsty girl with all the fonts' 0_o'
Luckily this is the end of Sarin's long, angsty monologue.
The next page has violence! Yay! And big swords! Yay! And Rekki! YAY!

Let's see....What can I say about this page? It's not very exciting as pages go. Basically, there are a few things I had to set up:
1. Sarin is a thinker, but she can still be a strong and sensible decision maker. She is a reliable person. She also feels very responsible for the people she's supposed to look after.
2. In case it hadn't been enforced enough, Sarin is extremely critical of herself. It's a key point of her character and probably one of her best and worst qualities at the same time.
3. It ought to be obvious as hell by now, but I wanted to really hammer it in that Rekki and Rocket are sisters.
Style wise, there's not a lot to say. The back shot of Sarin I quite like, it looks very Shounen manga esque, the eye shot lost something in scanning, it looked better on paper.
I did the trees really minimally on this page. The trees needed to be there, but I didn't want them drawing attention. I kind of wish I hadn't set this part of the story in a wood now. It makes it really hard to tell what the world they live in is like, and I'm so bored of just trees! Ah well.
