New page! Wow, Sarin is almost funny for a change instead of just angsting. And also, wow! Mongoose updated two pages within less than a week of each other! Are you impressed?I like this page (I know, shock horror, that's really quite unusual for me) Surprisingly it came out better scanned than on paper,which is the opposite of most other pages. Also, for once, I'm at least satisfied with how Sarin looks on ALL the cels on the page. Sarin is the hardest to draw of all the main characters.
...Oh and I got to use an azumanga style 'a.' (that's a japanese 'a' by the way, and it's pronounced like the a in 'cat', so it's like a short 'ah', sound.

I finally got to draw Sarin smiling! Sarin is really hard to draw because her eyes are at an angle rather than being flat. When drawn right they giver her a really interesting look, but they're the easiest eyes to mess up! Every time I draw her it's like 'man, will I insult people of asian descent if I draw Sarin badly?' I wanted her to look distinctively asian, but in as real a way as possible, and without having to resort to any kinds of stereotype (whoever decided asian people are 'yellow' coloured or that they have smaller eyes than any other race was a moron.)
