YES! I finally produced a cover for chapter 3 that I don't hate! YAY!Ok, less wierd and symbolic than the original chapter 3 cover I scrapped (can be found in my scraps) but it has Rekki looking tough, and I'm sure none of you regular readers of the comic will complain about that!
Lookie lookie! I'm trying to improve my anatomical drawing and also my CG work! ^_^ Getting better slowly. Hopefully I'll be able to do some really interesting poses soon by improving this stuff.
Looking forward to doing actual pages of chapter 3 now...

Thanks! The cover was born from the frustration of several unsatisfactory attempts. You can see both the scrapped cover for ch3 and the original inked line art for this in my scraps. It's still a favourite of mine.

Hee, thanks Aoi-chan, I'm glad you like it! Using the 'multiply' mode for the brush, or putting your lineart layer on 'multiply' and painting on the layer below it are great for professional looking CG.

Thanks, but FanDanGo isn't a Shounen manga, it's actually a Shoujo manga with action elements and a shounen-esque drawing style. It doesn't really belong in a shounen magazine, plus I'm not American.

its not all shounen and its kinda for this area its not just for american art its for a couple of places... haha ide have to ask my wife about it cuz i dont know haha.

If it's not shounen and it's not American, then it can't really be described as an 'American Shounen Jump'.
FanDanGo is nowhere near ready to be published anyway. It's only forty pages even if you include covers. Sorry, but I'm not interested in publishing until I have something worth publishing.

Yeah, her hair is also a bit longer on the first and second chapter covers. It just seems to work well on the covers to have her with longer hair, but it's impractical in the comic.

Hahaha, Rekki's hair is magical in the sense of it's longer on covers than in the actual comic for dramatic effect. In truth Rekki's hair is only a couple of inches past shoulderlength, but it didn't look as interesting with her hair just flopping.

lol flopping. anyway i like rekki's magical hair groth on the covers. but i still prefer here shorter hair. I've just grown accustomed to seeing her with short hair.

Rekki with shorter hair makes more sense because she's only been not cutting it for a couple of years, before which, as you see in flashbacks, her hair was very short. A knight wouldn't want super long hair anyway. The reason she has long hair will be explained in the comic later though. It ties into some of Rekki's backstory.
