This page was really interesting, both to write and draw. Yet another example of everything going wrong for everybody involved.
Somebody on Drunk Duck complained that Sol was not menacing or imposing as a villain. But he's really not a villain as such. In real life, bad guys don't generally think of themselves as 'bad', they don't go 'muahahaha!' and strangle puppies or hit little girls for fun. I wanted to show Sol in a new light here. I'm sure we've all had a moment (often sports being involved) where we've gone a little too far and hurt somebody we really wouldn't want to hurt, so I think you can relate to that feeling of guilt and worry. Sol certainly isn't the villain of the series.

The regulars will be amazed to hear, that for a change, I actually quite like this page. I know, that does go against my general blanket policy of being mildly dissatisfied with everything I draw...
