Halfway through chapter three! Hooray!

I'm kind of intregued as to how this page will read if you don't know some of the stuff I know as the creator. It's a shame I can't just wipe what I know for a moment to see what them impact is like. Even as the creator though, I like this page. Something about it gives me the shivers.
If you're one of the people who's been watching my scraps, I'm sure you're happy to see the appearence of that character. I'm sure I am! I've wanted to draw this particular character for over a year, it's my favourite character design in the whole comic! ^_^
Interesting that the character's debut ended up a page after Walking Fortress' (in earlier drafts, it'd be scheduled later, and was with Rocket). This character and Fortress actually have a fair amount in common, since they both are pretty mysterious and have their own font. In Fortress' case, this is just to represent the heavy sound and reverb of her speech in the armour, but with this new character, it's to show the sing-song, slightly archaic sound of the speech. They have another thing in common, but it'd be a horrible spoiler to even hint at it...

Oh yeah, I hope you're not confused by the names. Rekki isn't Rekki's real name. Rekki is short for Elrekia, in the comic world, it works not unlike how everybody in our world knows that my name, Kate, is short for Katherine, or that 'Bob' is short for Robert. Rocket's real name is Rochette, it's a pretty obvious nickname, I think.
