Description
You'd better be happy to see this page. REALLY HAPPY.Firstly it took ages to draw and work out how to properly storyboard and stuff, then came the real difficulty of gettingmy scanner to work on my new PC. It took ransacking the whole house and the whole internet, but I did it....Oh yeah, and I don't have all my brushes and fonts installed yet. Blegh....
Still, despite the technical problems, I like this page. I feel like I'm getting the hang of the characters now. I think the regular readers are probably getting the hang of them too.
This page was important for setting up Juliet and Sarin. They are verbal sparring partners. Those of you who want to see something interesting should check out all the way back to chapter 1 page 10. Sarin's first words in the whole comic are 'damn Juliet'! For those of you who have never read the bios and stuff, Juliet is actually only fifteen, she's just very smart and pretty well developed. Rocket is only a number of months younger, but she looks a lot younger. Sarin has recently turned eighteen, hence the playing of the age card, haha.

Heehee. Juu's expression in the second panel is completely devious. It's awesome. Not to mention her comment and Sarin's great comeback both made me L.O.L. XD
Ohyeah... Subo's headshot really looks nice in that first panel. Seriously.
*turns around* (DOWN, fangirl! Down!)

BTW Do you suppose anyone ever asked Batman about Robin?

Hahahaha. Well Superdickery.com [link] do ask that question a lot, and have incriminating old comic panels of the pair sleeping in the same bed and all kinds of shenanigans! But as far as I know, nobody in the comic ever seems to ask if Batman is gay....highly suspicious.

And sparring partners they should be! Great use of humor and playing off the characters companionship. I love how Juliet never misses a chance to get under Sarin's skin and how Sarin can shut her down with a turn of the phrase!
Um, pardon my Yank stupidity but I was confused by "Wendy House" too. I'm conjuring up all manner of meanings for it , some innocent others pretty crude. I guess I could google it, but I'd rather get it from the horse's mouth as it were.

I knew I should have added a footnote on that one!
A wendy house is a small plastic or tent-like house that little girls play in. I believe in other countries you'd call it a 'play house'.

Whew, thanks for that! And thanks for the great story too!
I love stories that aren't all bam, zap, pow! (But eventually get around to it!)

There will be plenty of bam zap pow eventually. Including the next storyarc climaxing in a fight against an army of house-sized demonic beings. It should be worth the wait and long build up.

Pedophile. not Peadophile.
Do you need an editor, because I'd be happy to help out.

Well, in England it's pronounced 'pee-do-file' or 'pay-do-file', I have heard Americans pronounce it as 'peddo-file'.
Personally if it's written as 'pedophile' to me it looks like a person who is sexually aroused by feet rather than children!
American spellings are strange. Especially 'Aluminum' instead of 'Aluminium', I mean, you don't call 'sodium', 'sodum' or 'cadmium', 'cadmum', so why take the i out of just one word? 0_o'

I was reading an article about this actually. It was amusing.
(And I was just being facetious about the weird british spellings.
I actually prefer them.)
Basicly it was going on and on about how the english language
was so weird with its spellings and homonymns...I think it was on
yahoo. I'll see if I can find it for you sometime. Perhaps you'd find
it as amusing as I did.

Is that supposed to be 'Wendy' house or do we mean 'Windy' house...?
Not...critting, just asking technicly. I'm confused because either way, I've never heard the expression.

It's 'Wendy house'. I thought it was auniversal expression, but was told after putting the comic up that it's likely to be a British word. You'd call it a 'play house'. It's a little tent-like house, normally set up in the garden, but sometimes in a room, that little girls play in, usually to have pretend tea parties etc.
