Aah man, this page took waaay too long to draw. Much longer than it should have. Okay, gotta stay posetive here, there are just three more pages of this chapter left to go!
The problem with mulling a page over for a long time, is that by the time you release it, the jokes have stopped being funny to you, and sometimes I'm even thinking 'was this really funny?' even if I'm quite aware it's funny. I'm pretty sure that Sol's little mental image of the 'Spawn of Fortress' will make you chuckle though. Funny really, but the comic has become more and more a comedy as I went along. Guess it's because I feel more confident about making people laugh.
On the artistic front, I like this page. Can't really put my finger on what I like about it. I used a different technique for Sol's hair, which looks a lot nicer. It looks more dynamic now, and fits with the retro feeling of the comic. Spent way too much time on the final panel. I just absolutely love drawing Walking Fortress' armour.
