Finally got this page done! The real problem was my lack of knowledge of military hardware. I wanted real guns that fit the technological period and cultural setting. Those are Sterling sub-machine guns, in case you're interested (they were converted to be the Storm Trooper rifles in Star Wars, but were originally a standard British sub-machine gun. They have a distinctive sideways magazine, which you can't see here, it's pointing 'off camera').This is one of those pages that won't really make sense for two pages or so. The next updates should be faster, this page was slow because of the research involved.

Thanks very much! I should be ok, since my flatmate is into this kind of thing, and the military are rarely prominent in the comic. It's very thoughtful of you to offer help though, and I'll keep your offer in mind in case I'm ever really stuck! ^_^

What did you use to colour this? The second panel looks great, I love it lol.

Most of the page is coloured with copic markers, which I use for most pages of the comic. They're expensive, but refillable and very high quality and a worthy investment.
Obviously some effects would be inachievable with markers, so the last panel uses some CG colouring, but panels 1,2 and 3 are entirely marker work. Glad you like the page!
