I hope people don't feel too betrayed by the fact that Rekki looks cute on this picture! In truth, Rekki was actually supposed to come out cuter than she did in the latest version of the comic. In the original draft (which maybe I'll scan sometime, I did a good number of pages before I decided to change it) Rekki was cute, but had a slightly scary personality, but Subo fancied her from about the sixth page onwards! In the new version she's less cute and has an even scarier personality! Actually, it's not Rekki's features that are scary, it's her expressions, her facial features, bar her eyebrows, make her just look like an older version of her sister Rocket. I found that giving her those scary eyebrows made her look very unique and fun to draw, especially when her fringe is like something the main male character of an RPG would have (as is her sword really) haha.
There are butterflies everywhere on this pic. Rocket nearly always has butterflies around her when she's happy. I like butterflies ^_^ Juliet just looks kind of ambiguous as usual. She's veeery tricky to get right, her eye expression rarely ever changes, they're very neutral eyes. Her mouth tends to be smiling, but her eyes always have this wierd dark, neutral look...sometimes even I'm not sure what Juu is thinking!
