It's been a while since I uploaded any art besides my comic, and Amecon getting close, I figured it was time to get into print-making gear.This was drawn on a4 Bristol board with a mechanical pencil, inked with a Tachikama nib pen, brush and deleter ink and coloured with photoshop. I went for flat colours, because I think flat colours look really cool.
To avoid the Advent Children grey and black outfits looking dull, I used lots of grey and black with hints of colours added to them to make a subtle palette.

Seph dyed his hair? I think I just picked a darkish grey. Back on the PSone, his hair wasn't as light a silver as it's commonly portrayed these days.

His legs were longer at first, but it looked ridiculously unrealistic. I decided to go for closer to anatomically correct proportions.

Excellent stuff. It's not all "POW! BMPH!" but still manages to be actiony and interesting... love the poses.
On a vaguely random note... I know a guy whose hair naturally sticks up exactly like Cloud's does! We call him Thom of the Final Fantasy Hair.

Amecon is a British anime convention in the midlands area of the country. Ame is Japanese for 'rain', and there has yet to be an Amecon without at least one day where it rains! We only get about one con a year in the UK, so they're huge, crazy events.
