It's a bio pic for Sarin! Of course, I'll be CGing this one later to put on the site, but I like them when they're pure pencilwork too. This one was done on regular A4 printer paper with a 0.5mm HB mechanical pencil...oh, and a rubber. Nothing fancy here! ^_^This is about the tenth attempt at a bio picture for Sarin. She's more subtle than the other main characters, and so harder to draw. I wanted to get a picture where she looked tall, even though she's not next to any other characters. I think I want to emphasise her lankiness in the comic too, it makes her look more interesting. She's lanky, but kind of elegant as well.
Oh, and yes, her Katana has changed a little....again. I want it to look more like a Katana.

I really like it! I like her clothes and th rock. Also the style is easy recognaisable (spelling?!)
But just one thing... actually 2: HER FEET ARE FLA~T! and it needs a little more grass, but you can add it when cging. But her feet... pleea~se, make them look good. it really brings down the pic when you look at her feet...

Err....I don't think I can be bothered to go back to a past work to fix the feet. It's kind of irritating to change a sketch. I prefer to look forward. I'll do them better next time.

Heh, great pose! (Is that what you spent so many drafts trying to figure out for her?) I love her sleeves too, and the smiley face on her shoe is a great touch.

Cool pose XD, but the left leg is not very well proportioned abd the right shoe's bottom is a little strange (sorry, i didn't find the word... lol) and the right hand is too small. I hope that you will not take my critic for evil

Aah, yeah, I see what you mean. I was pretty tired by the time I got to that part of the picture (busy week) and I wasn't sure if that leg looked ok or not, but I'd fussed over the image so much by then that I just wanted it finished.

Not so much laziness, as I was too tired to notice the mistake was even there. When you've been working on the same drawing for a total of three hours, and you're on a full time Japanese language course...in Japan, while simultaniously running your own webcomic...
Basically it was right before bedtime, on a night when I'd just written a draft for a Japanese language speech about social problems in England, and revised for the next day's kanji test for a few hours. Lazy isn't the word I'd use. 'Freaking exhausted' covers it better.

wicked, yeah got to love those clicky pencils. there what I’ve been using the past little while. so quick to restore when they get dull, it's love. lol.
i think you captured her "tallness" quite well for her not being next to someone, the rock i think adds a nice background and actually adds to the perception of lankiness in her. wicked job
