Wanted to see how good a drawing I could do in a different style from my usual manga. I decided to draw Ultimate Wolverine in an American comic book style.Came out pretty decent, so I uploaded him!

Wow, that looks great! I'm actually still pretty awful with the western comic book style. you really did a great job with the placement of the shading.

Thanks! shadows are hard for this style, but the trick is, as you'll notice in the work of Jack Kirby, it's not planing shadows realistically, it's planing them where they look cool that seems to be the trick.

Well, they seem to have stopped giving Ult Wolvie a goatee lately. In fact, nobody seems entirely sure what he's meant to look like. Some of the artists draw him looking just like regular Wolverine... 0_o; I was tempted to give him the goatee and floppy hair like he used to have, but lately he hasn't looked like that, hahaha.
