I am long overdue in posting a WIP for you all! It seems I am apologizing for being late in everything I do lately. College classes... * grumble, grumble*
I digress. Hope you enjoy!

1. Loose sketching
2. Precise outlining
3 and 4. Here is where I have discovered something new; do you remember in my old WIP's how I covered the whole thing in pencil and then started shading? That works well for single horses, but it's awful for really detailed stuff, as everything smears. Ick. So I've started going one section at a time, and it goes much smoother this way.
5. The whole thing is lightly shaded
6 and 7. The tack, using that same piece by piece method mentioned above.
8. The darkest shadows
9. Another layer - more darkening
10. The finished product!
