A tutorial on how to set your comment signature.
I had trouble with this when I first started out, and I have seen many new deviants asking about it.
There are probably plenty of these floating around, but for some I decided to make my own.

As far as I am aware, it just needs to be in the customisation>emoticons category for it to work.

The problem is that the image you have selected is in the category customisation>icons. Signatures may only include images from customisation>emoticons .

Maybe because it's not an emoticon but an avatar?
Also, I wouldn't like to have my avatar in somebody's else signature... please.
Not that I'm greedy, but I did it for myself some while ago and grew attached to it.
