Description EDIT4: okay I've been away for a few years and some things may have changed but, some additional information:

  • No you can't add images other than emotes to the comment signature
  • Sometimes custom emotes don't work and I don't know why  Tried to solve it once but it didn't work. Its a mystery 
  • I will likely not be updating this tutorial for whatever Eclipse happens to do to comment signatures. idek

    I had trouble with this when I first started out, and I have seen many new deviants asking about it.

    There are probably plenty of these floating around, but for some I decided to make my own.

    See the fourth frame, the "show signatures" checkbox.
    But note that signatures don't display in your message center for some reason.

    Just as you normally would for anywhere else. However, the :icon: codes won't work in the signature.

    hey there thanks for the tutorial and i find it helpful but whenever i try to change my comment signature it doesn't seem to work. I have already changed it and saved everything but it still stays the same What can i do?

    Sounds like it might be a bug, best go report it to the help desk to see if they can fix it for you.

    no i got it i just had to change my comment signature above my username XD i didn't need it below every comment i would place on someone's artwork XD

    Do  you also know how to include links in your description, but make them appear as if they were not links? For example, my sis says "Click here fool", but when you click it, it leas to my gallery. I see many people do it, lol.
