Surely there's not a one of you out there who doesn't recognize THIS classic science fiction spacecraft?!?! Okay, so there's one. How old are you? What, they didn't rerun the old Lost in Space TV series in your country? Okay. That's fair enough. Here's an info link for you to read while the rest of us continue:

Folks, this is without a doubt the best damn 3D digital model of the original Jupiter 2 from the classic Lost in Space (LIS) TV series I've yet seen. It has been accurately recreated both inside and out (!) and comes with such features as retractable landing gear and access hatches you can open and close (!), a full interior on both decks (!!), and MORE!!! You'll have to download the model and look at it yourself to see all the classic LIS wonderfulness it contains.
The only other thing I'll say is that this is a composite model representing the most commonly accepted version of the Jupiter 2 across all seasons of the original LIS, as both the exterior models and interior sets were sometimes inconsistent with each other and across all seasons (and sometimes within individual episodes, such as the series broadcast opener "The Reluctant Stowaway"). For example, this has only two decks which is the most commonly accepted configuration, instead of the three we see in "Space Creature," which is the only time that's depicted in the show. Compromises had to be made to come up with something that would work in almost every occasion with reference to most of the original LIS episodes. I'm sure all of you understand that. For those who don't, you're always welcome to make your own model that's this good or even better. -_^
I don't think Mr. Pendergraft will have a problem using this in your own stuff, say for 3D posing and the like, so long as you give him credit for all of his hard work (and it was a lot, believe me). If you're planning on re-rigging, porting, and then re-releasing this in another 3D model format - say XPS, MMD, MDL (Source engine), PSK (Unreal engine), or the like - I'd strongly advise you to get his permission first. After all it's his creation, not yours. Fair enough?
TRIVIA - Did you know that the "Johnny Williams" who wrote the music and classic themes for the original LIS is the same John Williams who composed and conducted the original Star Wars trilogy soundtracks, not to mention so many other great works of regular, movie, and TV music?
