This is a video tut that will show you how to make a dev stamp.
Im not the creator of this..nor claim to be..these have been done a million times in other tutorials here on da....I have only sped the process up a bit with some short cuts in Photoshop.

UPDATE....if you want to preserve transparency and you have IE6 or older you could also save this as a GIF image. Thanks to Vectortrance for reminding me. 
ALSO your final stamp size should be 99 x 56 pixels.

a brilliant tutorial and somthing you won't care about is when you uploaded this video it was the 7th of febuary. my birthday is the 8th of febuary and the reason why it's not the 7th is cause my dad went to a football match on that day (grimsby town vs. west ham)and we drew but as it turns out my mum could hold on for another day so he went and i was bourn on the 8th of febuary at 23:15

wow this is easy to follow im not however planning on makin a stamp but if i do then i will surely use this.
i learned something today its kinda strange cuz u can be at school for 8 hours but then when u get on the computer u begin learning things.
