This is a good point to check your dialogue and major sound effects so the artist knows where the word bubbles are in each panel and how much of the scene is taken by them. For the writer it let's you know if you need to edit the dialogue to better fit the scene.
Your instructions are clear and the visuals aid are nice and helpful. Just tossing in a few things I've found useful at this stage.

You don't always have to do that.
If you feel comfortable just doing it on Photoshop then that's fine.
It's just a little extra step in planning.
