Oh look. Its Mott.You've found a pretty sweet setup here haven't you Mott? Around here, people just leave fresh pastries out. Must be presents for you huh?
Arno is currently caught between being relieved that he didn't just have a face to face encounter with the god of death... and horrified that the food offering that was supposed to protect their souls from harm is currently being shoveled down the throat of a sophistic goblin with a bottomless pit for a stomach. I'm sure nothing bad will come of this....

Before the eighth panel I was gonna comment 'Boi if this isn't like the scene in Mulan with Mushu looking all badass when he's a toothpick of a dragon' and turns out, it is! Thought we would be introduced to a new species, but I'm glad we have a new goblin (Also omg I already like him, can't wait to see more of him and get to know about his eye ^u^)

Maybe they're a matched set?
Could it be possible that together, they are Oblivion? Could explain Mott's constant hunger and that weird glowing eye of judgment thing M used on the fish dude in prison . . .
That or one of the two is Oblivion and the other is simply an eyeball snatcher.

I love coming up with theories! Even if they don't turn out to be true, it's still fun to imagine all the possibilities.
(No problem! The characters' personalities and designs are fantastic! I meant to say it earlier but something about the scene with Nule and Fergus in the forest reminded me of Over the Garden Wall. Maybe it's the autumnal colours and setting?)

I love and support all of Mott's life decisions so far, but are we going to address his eye(s)?? Is he a simple hungry vagrant AND a conduit for demonic energy? I'm on board for that tbh, and I would also like to know what happened to the other eye. I genuinely can't imagine anyone who could be angry enough to attack this legendary individual (except maybe Arno atm)

The eye will be explained soonish in the story. Its possible to be able to put a lot of things together with the clues already in the comic. But I don't really expect anyone to do it at this point. It would take some serious attention to detail to pick up on it.
