It looks like Mott managed to keep the offering from being taken from him. He seems pretty smug about this fact. I can't say the same for the rest of the crew however... Arno seems convinced that Mott has just brought down the wrath of oblivion on all of their heads. But Mott doesn't seem worried at all. Maybe he knows something they don't?

So you've all seen Reggie's face now. It was a lot of fun reading everyone's reactions to him. I suppose actually seeing his face helps make some things a little clearer. Like why Topper and Arno are always so ridiculously protective of him, even though his size and armor makes him seem like someone who would have no trouble looking after themself. Reggie is the youngest of the three, at 16. Topper is 18 and Arno is 20. And the latter two baby Reggie more than anyone else they know.

Oh, and that mark on Reggie's cheek... Its not a tattoo. Its a brand.

And its part of the reason Reggie never takes off his helmet....

Reggie's personality is actually based on my nephew. He's easily the sweetest and most sensitive kid I've ever known. Always thoughtful, kind and polite. But he has always been really tall for his age. Both parents are tall, so from the time he was in kindergarten, people always assumed my nephew was several years older than he actually was. That can be pretty hard on a kid. Sure people give you more responsibility, but they also expect you to act more mature than you actually are. It kind of forces a kid to grow up a little bit faster sometimes, and thats a little bit sad I think.
